The Myth is a $20 million production co-produced by Chan’s film company and the China Film Group Corporation. 　　

The film is about the discovery by an archaeologist of the mausoleum built by China’s first emperor Qin Shihuang in 221 BC. 　　

The film has been sent censoring and is expected to open in cinemas from 23rd September in Malaysia.

Story:
Intrepid archeologist Jack (JACKIE CHAN) and ambitious scientist William (TONY LEUNG KA-FAI) set out on an adventure that would lead them to the First Emperor of China’s royal tomb and the greatest discovery in Chinese history. Through strange and provocative dreams, Jack sees himself reincarnated as Meng Yi, a general who fell for the First Emperor’s beautiful consort Ok Soo (KIM HEE SEON). The two adventurers successfully enter the Heavenly Palace, a fortress loaded with death traps and unspeakable evils, as Jack comes face-to-face with his past. Or is it really?
