Dish Network Satellite in USA
I grew up on Satellite television because we lived in a rural area and cable would come in handy. But it actually worked out pretty good. By the time we came into the technologically advanced viewing world known as “Dish Network“, the majority of the bugs were fixed the and the actual satellite dish itself was TINY (in comparison to the one my aunts had!). The reception was great, and the onslaught of channels was amazing. I particularly loved all the music channels. In fact, 10 years later, I still tend to turn on the music channels rather than the local radio stations. No annoying DJ’s telling you about their life story, no commercials. Just hours and hours of music.
The cool thing nowadays, is the special “extras†you can get when you switch over a Dish TV setup. When my wife and I signed up a couple months ago, we got a portable DVD player for free. Yeah, 100% free just for signing up for Dish Network Satellite. But that website I just linked too shows you a ton of other offerings you can get now too. Cash, iPods, the DVD player I mentioned, Home Theater Systems, and even Visa Gift cards. All of which are pretty cool. The DVD player we got will actually be pretty cool because wanted one for a long time for taking trips requiring airplanes. However now If I could sign up again I think I’d go after that iPod!
