There was new speculation that “Kira” is actually a group of three who actually got hold of the photos and videos last year and had tried to extort money from Edison Chen. Edison Chen told Albert Yeung about it and through some ways, they set a trap and managed to ensnare one of them. The other two however got away and are believed to have escaped to Thailand and Indonesia and continued to extort money from them. via

Netizens reported today that a video of Edison Chen (陳冠希) and Maggie Q (李美琪) involved in sex acts had surfaced on the web. It was rumoured that the sex tape showed up on a Hong Kong discussion board but was swiftly removed my moderators.

Even before the scandal broke, Maggie was widely reported in Hong Kong newspapers to have dated Edison a few years ago.

batgwa.com has reason to believe that a show-business insider was spreading images related to the ongoing sex photos scandal. Yesterday at 10:45 GMT, the news desk received an email containing 12 images, purportedly of Gillian Chung (鍾欣桐) giving Edison Chen (陳冠希) oral sex, that had already surfaced the day before.

The email had the Simplified-Chinese subject heading “The innocent Gillian Chung” (纯情的阿娇钟欣桐), but did not contain any text except for a general email footer.

The batgwa.com email address that the message was sent to had never been publicly listed and had only ever been used for communication with other media companies.

This is a developing story due to it being recent and will be updated tomorrow.

In this seemingly endless saga, more leaked photos of female starlets appeared on the internet this afternoon as this mystery person seems hell bent on wrecking their careers.

- 4 Cecilia Cheung photos which are believed to from the same set earlier on

- 4 Gillian Chung photos including one in a nightie

- 47 screenshots from a video with Bobo Chan, Gillian Chung in it

- Unconfirmed number of photos leaked totalling 251 photos but not celebrities

There is also a preview that a video in 3 parts that was to be posted yesterday accompanied by 600 photos but it never came out. The poster “KIRA” even hopes that fans will anticipate this latest release that’s coming soon. He is simply issuing a challenge to the police, “Catch Me If You Can!”

Will Comissioner Tang’s remarks led to panic hard disk purges all over Hong Kong? All pervious assumptions that possession is not illegal have gone out of the window. Tang has just stated that possession = distribution, depending on his own opinion. The resulting maximum penalty is HKD 1,000,000 in fines and 3 yaers in prison. Which among Hong Kong citizens should already be identified as a prime suspect? Edison Chen! He took hundreds of these photographs, he stored them on his pink Apple Powerbook and it is now know that some of those photographs were distributed on the Internet. Isn’t he the most obvious suspect for the crime of possesion/potential distribution? Why haven’t the police arrested and detained him with no bail? Did he leave for Canada because he was anticipating the problem? Have the Hong Kong police asked Interpol and/or Royal Canadian Mounted Police to interrogate Edison Chen?

Meanwhile, singer Cathy Leung was wrongly identified as one of the woman (unknown02) in the 210 new pic set (7 Feb 2008 version). It has now been ascertained that it was Mandy Chen Yu Ju instead. She got to know Edison Chen in 2001 while she was participating in Miss Chinese International Pageant 2001 and he was one of the performers that night. She was in the industry for a while but has since left. This brings to the number of starlets that has been exposed in this scandal to six.

Yesterday, there is new development in the Edison Chen “Nude Picture Scandal” which has shocked the entire Hong Kong.

Gillian Chung continues to be dragged down by the scandal. There are rumours that commercial sponsors wants to discontinue their business relations. She expressed that Gillian Chung accepted three new commercial and will continue to work in 2008.

Unfortunately, another victim of the scandal, Bobo Chan was rumoured to have her wedding cancelled.

Her 2008 wedding dream was shattered. If the circulating rumours from sources are correct, then we are really sympathetic towards her.

The scandal is not dying down yet. Yesterday, there are several new pictures which look like it is related to the scandal.

The content is more shocking than the previous batches. It is causing quite a stir. It is rubbing salt into the victims’ wounds.

Currently, Gillian is personally the spokesperson of slimming product ‘瘦得起’ and Adidas sporting apparel. With her partner, Charlene Choi under the Twins brand, they are spokesperson for: Mentholatum lip balm, Regene beauty products, France wedding, Xbox 360 and others.

They also sing the theme-song for the Hong Kong Disneyland. Yesterday, EEG management Mani denied that Gillian is losing her advertisers’ support. She also announced: “All of her advertisement are not affected.

The sponsors love Twins. They are very supportive of Gillian.

Twins just accepted three new commercial sponsors! They are beauty products, jewellery and female products in mainland China. The pay is very good. After CNY, they start their work.

It is going according to the original plan.”

Hong Kong Disneyland’s representative announced: “The collaboration of Disney and Twins was a one-time cooperation during CNY. We invited her to our press conference earlier and that plan will continue.

The ‘送豬迎鼠’ MV will be aired. The ‘米奇百變睇’ plushie/doll which Gillian designed was not removed.”

Edison’s ex-girlfriend Bobo Chan originally planned her wedding for August this year. She has been dragged down by the scandal and there are rumours that her boyfriend Phillip (金紫耀) has cancelled the wedding and ended their relationship all together.

Bobo Chan has packed up her belonging and went back to her family. Her relationship and reputation has taken two hard hits. She is spending her days crying.

As for Edison Chen, his career is hitting rock-bottom since he is losing his parts in the JUMP film by Stephen Chow.
