There is a proverbial Chinese saying that a family’s accumulated wealth cannot be maintained past the third generation. This film explores this saying through the eyes of the Chinese in Malaysia and traces their history from the time of our forefathers to the current Chinese generation. The Chinese have had a significant presence in Malaysia since the early 19th century and through a myriad of activities have contributed to the growth of the Malaysian economy.
